ONLINE ORDERS
If you are unhappy with your purchase we will accept an EXCHANGE for another garment or return for STORE CREDIT.
You may use your store credit at any time. It will not expire and it is transferable.
We offer a 14 day return policy for purchases made online, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for an exchange or store credit return, your item must be in the same condition as received, unworn and unused, with tags and in original packaging. Proof of purchase (such as invoice no.) and reason for return are required in shipment.
Please contact us at order@kayoanimeclothing.com to request a return.
If your return is accepted, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions for sending your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

STOREFRONT PURCHASES

Items purchased at our San Francisco storefront location may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 10 days of date of sale.
To be eligible for an exchange or store credit return, your item must be in the same condition as purchased, unworn and unused with tags. Proof of purchase and reason for return are required.
All wholesale KAYO items purchased at a different retail store must be exchanged or returned through the retail store and in accordance with their policies.
GENERAL

Damage and defects
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can evaluate and correct any issues.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain items cannot be returned, like custom products (ex. special orders or personalized items).
We also do not accept returns for worn items, such as those which smell of perfume or tobacco. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
- Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
- All festival and event purchases are final.

Non-defective exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for exchanging your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.A $10 restock fee is assessed if there is nothing wrong with the exchanged item(s).

European Union 14 day cool-off period
Notwithstanding the above, if any merchandise is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.
As above, your item must be in the same condition as received, unworn and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
You’ll also need to provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

DOMESTIC ORDERS
All orders are shipped by United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class unless an alternative shipping method is specified.
Please allow 7 business days for domestic package delivery.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
All orders are shipped by United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class Mail International unless an alternative shipping method is specified.
Please allow up to 30 days for delivery for international packages.
Customs fees may apply in some countries and will be the responsibility of the customer.

It is VERY important you provide a safe address for package delivery. You may note a request to require a signature upon delivery at no extra cost.

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

Lost packages
Any packages lost in transit are the responsibility of KAYO Anime Clothing. Items will be replaced or refunded to the Customer. A lost package is a package that DOES NOT show as "Delivered" via the United States Postal Service electronic tracking system.

Stolen packages
Any packages stolen upon or after delivery are the responsibility of the Customer. A stolen package is a package that was successfully delivered to the Customer address given at the time of order.
Once the delivery is confirmed by the United States Postal Service electronic tracking system, the goods become the responsibility of the Customer. KAYO Anime Clothing is unable to refund or exchange stolen items. Please provide a safe address to receive your package.

Signature Upon Delivery
Reminder: If your address is not secure we are happy to require Signature Upon Delivery at no additional charge. Please note this request in the "notes" section of your order.
ORDER TRACKING
You can easily track current orders and order history by creating an account before completing your purchase.
Once your purchase is complete and your account has been created, click on "Order History" and select the order number you'd like to track. The tracking link will appear below each item.
